The first part of the process is to identify an individual or individuals that have the ability to perform the tasks outlined in the job specification, and that meet any other demands or requirements of the employer. Once an outlined and considered job spec is produced and discussed, we can then determine how many people are likely to be identified for the interview process.
This can vary considerably, based on how competitive the package is ,and if relocation is a consideration.
Producing an outline specification of the employees responsibilities is essential to ensure the process starts correctly and that those considered for employment know exactly what is expected from the start. This is not to say that situations and responsibilities can change during the process.
